With sports massage, they try to remove from the tissue as quickly as possible the products of incomplete exchange of substances that occurred during maximum sports efforts. Massage is contraindicated in diseases of the skin, venous blood vessels (especially phlebitis and thrombosis) and in all acute inflammations.
Cardiac massage tries to establish and maintain blood circulation after cardiac arrest, and it can be external (by squeezing the heart by pressing on the sternum in the direction towards the spine) or open (by surgery).
