Dermapen

With the Dermapen treatment, we can successfully treat:

Wrinkles

As we get older, we start to show signs of aging, mimic wrinkles or fine and deeper wrinkles appear, as a sign of slower collagen and elastin production, the skin loses firmness. Pollution and lifestyle also affect our skin. The renewal process of our skin slows down as we age, so Dermapen treatments are a safe and natural alternative to fight the aging process. Clinical Dermapen treatments along with other combination therapies can produce amazing results.

Dermapen treatments work naturally from within. The skin’s natural reactions created by microneedling treatments will trigger collagen production and elastin production.

With the Dermapen treatment, we can successfully treat:

Crow’s feet – wrinkles around the eyes. We also popularly call them laugh lines and in that area, the first wrinkles and lines most often appear around the eyes.

Rose lines – the delicate areas around the lips form expression lines, causing unsightly ‘bleeding’ of the roses and uneven contours around the smile. Often, those fine lines around the lips look like “smoker’s lines,” even if you don’t smoke.

Glabellar lines – frown lines that will develop the fastest from fine  deeper lines due to facial expression, frowning and loss of skin elasticity.

Sagging Skin – The natural aging process, free radical damage and an inactive skin care regime can lead to sagging skin – areas that are often overlooked such as the neck and décolletage, skin around the ears, back of the hands, back of the neck / hairline are often the story areas of skin aging.

Uneven skin tone – A natural sign of aging can be uneven skin tone, especially for those who regularly expose their skin to external aggressors. Sun damage and hyperpigmentation are the leading indications for those who are ideal for Dermapen treatment

ACNE

Acne can affect all skin types and ages, and can be caused by a combination of genetics, hormonal changes, health, stress and external aggressors. Hormones can stimulate excessive sebum (or oil) production, and in turn, excess oil, dry skin and dead cells can all become trapped in the pores and create an inflammatory process – acne. If pores become blocked, acne bacteria can cause inflammation and make the skin more susceptible to other bacteria.

EXPANDED PORES

Although not a medical condition, enlarged pores are a cosmetic concern for many people. Enlarged or “open” pores can create a slightly uneven texture on the surface of the skin, which also causes uneven makeup application. Enlarged pores are usually more visible on the nose, cheeks and chin and are common among those who have suffered from acne or problematic skin conditions such as blackheads.

STRETCHES AND SCARS

Stretch marks are a type of scarring that occurs when the rapid “tearing” of the dermis affects the tearing of collagen fibers. This condition can affect all skin types, conditions and colors and both sexes. Stretch marks can appear as red or purple lines that fade to a white/silver color. Very often they appear with too fast and excessive growth or weight fluctuations. Scars occur as a result of skin damage and occur as a result of wound healing. They can appear from various traumas on the skin and as a result of acne.

HYPERPIGMENTATION

Hyperpigmentation is a change in skin color caused by internal physical factors and/or external factors that may include hormonal changes, sun exposure, skin type, trauma and the natural aging process of the skin. Appearing as areas of uneven skin tone, dark spots  or freckles, pigmentation occurs when excess melanin (skin pigment) is stimulated. Superficial pigmentation (epidermal or superficial) usually affects lighter skin tones and is usually caused by sun damage,  deeper pigmentation (dermal) can be caused by trauma, medications and hormonal factors, and can also manifest as pigmented acne scars or melasma.
